My Take on the book
Jazmeen a girl from Faridabad is a typical Bollywood hottie. She is talented, beautiful and is in a relationship with the most powerful Politician of the country. Her candour in interviews and her oomph factor on and of screen is what makes her the most popular actress in Bollywood.
Jazmeen’s ruthless and bold behaviour is the result of her dark past which is full of secrets and her life being a roller coaster ride starting from the day she lost her parents to a tragic accident. This story is the journey of Jazmeen’s vengeance. The book is divided into three parts and all the parts slowly lead upto the big event unfolding all the secrets to the reader. In the first few pages Jazmeen’s body was objectified a loy and I was struggling to find the reason behind it, but as the story moves forward I understood the reason behind it.
I am someone who has read a lot of Thrillers, so there was this voice inside my head telling me that this will happen and now he/she is going to do this but every time i was caught off guard.
The story has characters projecting sinister qualities and their development is ohh sooo good!. The story shows the importance of relationships and how a man’s judgment gets blinded due to money power and politics.
Do I recommend it?
The book gets a little slow in the middle otherwise its an action packed thriller which has dark characters and steamy romance.
If you are someone who is into drama then definitely go for this one.
